Academics
We are WASC accredited and offer a highly rigorous academic program that empowers students to meet and exceed all eligibility requirements to not only graduate high school in Arizona, but more importantly pursue excellence after high school whether that be college, careers, vocational school, athletics and more!
We have all the core academic courses needed to successfully graduate high school, and a robust selection of academic pathways of courses for students to individualize their experience to pursue their dreams.
Our teachers are highly qualified and trained to ensure our students are learning and growing every day. We pride ourselves on using best practices in data decision making and partner with families to ensure parents and students have access to their academic data and pathways.
All students are required to build, manage and maintain a student academic binder that all students ongoingly track, reflect, set goals and manage their academic pathway here at VFA! We have various thresholds in place designed to ensure students do not fall behind and stay on top of their academic progress and success.
All students have access to apply to our dual enrollment program with Grand Canyon University, which is fully funded by Victory Schools, to start taking college courses and earning college credits in high school. Collegiate Athletics
At all of our Victory Schools campuses, values and life lessons from sports and athletics are highly emphasized and threaded throughout our mission, vision and core values. Which is why here Victory Futures Academy, we are all in on sports and work to ensure our students have access to a collegiate-like environment of being an elite student-athlete.
High school sports play a critical role in preparing students for life beyond the classroom. They build character by teaching discipline, time management, and accountability—skills that are essential for success in college, careers, and adulthood. Student-athletes also learn how to lead, work as part of a team, and stay committed through adversity, all aligned to our mission, vision and core values. These lessons extend far beyond the game, shaping young people into confident, driven, and resilient individuals.
Some of the main sports that we are all in here at VFA include: Varsity and JV Boys Basketball, Varsity and JV Girls Basketball, Varsity Cheer, Varsity and JV Soccer, Varsity and JV Flag Football, Varsity and JV Girls Volleyball
We also pride ourselves on being highly responsive to our students and staff interest. In years past, because of the student interest, we have had tackle football teams, track and field teams, wrestling teams, and more! If we have the student interest, we will support our young adults!
What separates our high school in sports is our dedication and commitment to ensuring our student-athletes have access to the resources, training, funding, education, exposure, and support that collegiate bound athletes deserve and have around the country. We have multiple individuals from our Executive Team, sister schools, network, and general staff, that have played college sports at a high level, and are fully committed to bringing those resources and experiences to our students and families.
Our super fan section, The Shield, brings the Spartan spirit to life at every game. Grounded in our proud Spartan mascot, our fans come together to form a united front of energy, pride, and positive support for our athletes. Partnership with GCU
At Victory Schools, we have a proud and strong partnership with Grand Canyon University that goes above and beyond a few programs or field trips, to a robust relationship that is cemented on a common ground for service and community. Please reach out to our Principal or Director of Schools, for more information on how we partner with GCU and how that can impact your child’s future. Below please find a few programs we would love to highlight.
Dual Enrollment – at a discounted rate, Victory Schools funds students who qualify and apply, to be a GCU Lopes student and take college courses and earn college credits as a high school student.
Field Trips – we have multiple programs and field trips scheduled throughout the year for students to do campus visits, take tours, learn about the sports at GCU, volunteer and complete community service and more!
Sports – our high school students constantly get to attend GCU sporting events, meet and interact with GCU athletes, get access to training and support, and build ongoing relationships grounded in mentorship.
Academics – we have multiple partnerships with various departments and programs at GCU where GCU students tutor our students, volunteer to support students, teach at our schools and more.
VF7
VF7 is our signature pathway to student success, featuring seven powerful programs that go beyond the classroom—including financial literacy, public speaking, culture exposure, entrepreneurship, real-life leadership skills, and more. Offered in addition to core classes and electives, VF7 equips students with the tools they need to thrive in college, career, and life.
