π 9th Grade Camping Trip: Learning Beyond the Classroom
Our 9th graders started the year with an unforgettable camping adventure! Over three days, students explored nature, practiced leadership, and connected classroom lessons to real-life experiences. The trip was a perfect example of Victory Futuresβ commitment to hands-on learning through our Culture Exposure Program.
π©Ή Life Skills Spotlight: First Aid Month
This monthβs Life Skills focus was First Aid! Spartans learned how to treat minor injuries and respond calmly during emergencies. Through teamwork and hands-on practice, students are developing the confidence and compassion to help othersβone skill at a time.
π§ ACT Practice Testing
On October 15th, our 9thβ11th graders took part in ACT Practice Testing to build familiarity with the exam and strengthen test-taking skills. Teachers will review results to help students set academic goals and guide instruction for the year ahead.
π Attendance Matters
In September, only 50% of our students met the 95% attendance goalβso weβre stepping it up this month! Victory Futures is challenging every Spartan to show up, stay focused, and finish the semester strong. Remember: showing up is the first step toward shining bright!
π Building Character, Building Community
Led by Ms. Despain, our new Character Trait Board encourages students to embody positive values each month. This initiative helps Spartans reflect on leadership, respect, and growth while recognizing peers who exemplify these traits.
